The Chateau Cellar
A spacious chateau cellar from the mid-16th century is a popular tourist destination in Mikulov. It holds the impressive giant barrel, one of the largest in Europe, which has dominated the cellar since 1643. The barrel with carved headboard, the most attractive object of the chateau equipment, is, together with the exhibition of wine presses, a part of the permanent museum exhibition dedicated to traditional winemaking in Moravia.Virtual tour
